Corporate

We are currently engaged in an independent process review conducted by an independent consulting company through a New York State program designed to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of local companies. This review will be a common starting point for future certification projects such as an ISO rating.

Employees

Each of Modern Medical's health care employees has received specific training and certifications for various types of equipment and services as well as HIPAA compliance, Infection Control and Environmental Health and Safety Programs.

Biomedical

We currently have technicians with A.A.S. degrees in Electronics Technology and or graduates of various manufacturers training courses across a wide spectrum of modalities.

Our technicians currently service general biomedical equipment, respiratory equipment, sterilizers and anesthesia equipment. We currently have technicians with A.A.S. degrees in Electronics Technology.

Many of our technicians are graduates of various manufacturers training courses across a wide spectrum of modalities. These technicians are then responsible to train other M.M.S. technicians servicing these modalities.

Medical Gas

Our installers are NITC certified ASSE 610 and ASME IX Brazers along with holding NYC FD certifications. Medical Gas System test / validation technicians are specially trained in all aspects of NFPA and CGA requirements for medical gas installations and standards in Health Care Facilities.

Our technicians perform medical gas inspections, repairs and full installations. Installers are NITC certified ASSE 610 and ASME IX Brazers along with holding NYC FD certifications. The electronic portion of Medical Gas installation / repairs is supported by our in house engineering group with A.A.S. degrees in Electronics Technology. Our Medical Gas System test / validation technicians are specially trained in all aspects of NFPA and CGA requirements for medical gas installations and standards in Health Care Facilities and use our own proprietary computerized Certiflow System for testing these systems.

Trace Gas / Environmental

Our technicians are trained and knowledgeable in OSHA, NIOSH and other Life-Safety standards as well as being factory trained in the use of this specialized equipment.

The use of specialized equipment such as the B&K photo-acoustic gas analyzer sets the requirements for our technicians. Knowledgeable in OSHA, NIOSH and other Life-Safety standards, our technicians are factory trained in the use of this specialized equipment.

Clean Room / Operating Room / Fume Hood / Pharmacy Testing

Our technicians have been factory trained by some of the worlds most trusted name in clean room engineering systems, Howorth-Airtech, UK and the Baker Company, Sanford, ME. Howorth provides containment and clean room system to the Pharmaceutical, Medical and Semi-Conductor industries worldwide and Baker is the premier manufacturer of fume and biohoods in the US. Knowledge and competencies are demonstrated in Federal Standard 209E and related ISO standards, HTM 2025, UL and others. Competency is demonstrated in the use of related test equipment such as laser particle counters, vane and hot wire anemometers, manometers, balometers and DOP testing.
